Daily Word

I love this Word, “walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh”. This is in Galatians 5:16. Remember, Jesus left us with the Holy Spirit when He returned back to His Father in Heaven. He left the Holy Spirit as a helper for life! Literally for life and its longevity, and for life as we live it each day! Life can be full of twists and turns everyday and having a helper to keep us from doing “fleshy things” is imperative to our spirit! Folks say, “how do you walk in the Spirit?” The answer is simple, you ask God for help! Lord, I choose the Spirit over the flesh! I choose life over death! I choose to do the right things, things that glorify You God over things that glorify the world! To walk in the Spirit means to let the Spirit of God lead you through the day! To help you make choices and decisions that align with the Word. That aligns with how Jesus lived when He was on this earth. He lived completely in communication with God. As He went to God with everything He faced......God showed Him the way to overcome, get through and trust Him. That my friends, is how we are to live! Living right with God!
