A man’s pride brings him low, But the humble in spirit will retain honor. ~Proverbs 29:23. 

When you have pride, you elevate yourself above all else in whatever manner you choose. You raise yourself up to another level of “I can’t, I won’t, I will” and it doesn’t matter what anyone says to me. I am who I am. It’s challenging to get someone off the pride bus! We have all been there! The Bible does say, pride comes before the fall. Pride stinks! It clutters up space and makes things messy! Both in things and people. 

Only God should be right and elevated, to a much higher level than anyone. The opposite of pride is humility……humble yourself before the Lord and He will raise you up!! Remain humble, God honors that! When you know you need God more than anyone or yourself……then humbleness of spirit takes over every part of your mind, body, and soul! That’s where God wants us to be! That’s where He does amazing miracles in us and our lives!
